Rehab Medicine of the Carolinas specializes in the medical treatment and rehabilitation of patients with a variety of physical problems and associated disabilities.
These disabilities include: general medical conditions, sports-related injuries, arthritis, soft-tissue injuries, musculoskeletal pain syndromes, non-traumatic brain injury such as stroke and brain tumors, debility or deconditioning from cancer or its associated treatments, neurologic disorders, traumatic brain injury, amputations, lymphedema, congenital pediatric disorders and many more.



Dr. Adrienne Hill, a physiatrist, is a physician trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) and is trained to treat physical and mental impairments caused by congenital or acquired disorders. Physiatrists help co-manage many common medical conditions as such conditions impact function and well-being. They collaborate with patients’ primary care provider and other specialists to help deliver the highest quality and most comprehensive care.
Physiatrists help to improve patients’ function, quality of life, and overall well-being by offering treatment for many conditions or disorders. Physiatry is a whole-person approach to care and recognizes that patients are best treated when their mind, body, and spirit are functioning optimally.
