Major multiple trauma, usually from car accidents, may leave a patient with a wide range of symptoms depending on the type of trauma.
The team at Rehab Medicine of the Carolinas is prepared to treat and restore patients following traumatic injuries. We work in conjunction with the trauma and/or surgical team to provide comprehensive and integrated care so that patients can have optimal function and quality of life.
It is imperative to continue treatment following hospital discharge so that impairments and symptoms may be appropriately addressed.
Sometimes, feeding tubes and tracheostomy tubes are needed for a period following trauma. Proper care and follow-up of these devices are crucial.

"Each visit I have with Dr. Hill makes me wish I had seen her many years earlier. I probably wouldn't have half of the problems I do now. She is so thorough and she seems to genuinely care about you. If only there were more doctors like her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!"

She treats you with respect, understanding that the patient has the best insight into her body, making it possible to explore medical remedies. Her interest in her patients as human beings is evident by her personal follow-up when you leave her office! She is a patient advocate!!"
